AM STRETCH: Looking for a way to gently awaken your body, lengthen muscles, and start your day? The class uses a variety of stretching techniques and yoga to help prevent injuries, promote flexibility, and reduce negative stress. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

BUTTS N’ GUTS: Class designed to target the waistline, thighs, and glutes while helping to prevent injury and promote resilience. In this class, you tone the body, increase strength, and improve daily functional performance. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

CLASSIC PILATES: This class uses the most effective Pilates exercises to tone your body, and strengthen your entire body, especially effective in establishing core strength. A great complement to a cardio regime, and yoga practice! All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. A yoga mat or a beach towel is recommended.

DANCE PARTY!: Let’s get this party started! Get your weekend vibe in gear! Each week, we’ll rotate instructors and feature a combination of Cardio Dance, Line Dance, Latin Dance, and Zumba!  Dena and Beth will be teaching their country line dance classes on the second week of the month throughout the summer.  Various instructors will help bring something different to the party each week! All levels are welcome. No dance experience is necessary.

FLOW YOGA: A lively vinyasa flow yoga class that requires the ability to get up and down off the floor. Standing and sitting postures are used interchangeably. Modifications will be offered to accommodate all levels of practitioners. Experience is helpful but not required. 2 blocks, and 1 long strap may be used.

H.I.I.T: “High-Intensity Interval Training” tones and firms your body while improving your cardio. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. Click for equipment needs and more.

PIYO:  Class combines the best training techniques from several modalities: Pilates, yoga, dance, cardio, and resistance training, rolled up into one effective class! Add lightweights (optional) to help improve your strength and achieve a more toned body. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

R.I.P.: This popular class uses weights and other training techniques to tone your body leading towards peak condition. Class incorporates orthopedic strength training to tone your body so you can resist injury. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

SPIN CLASS: A well-paced, lively group cycling class uses stationary bikes in a classroom setting. Focuses on cycling fundamentals, cardio health & overall fitness!

SPIN PUMP: An interval-style combination class that focuses on conditioning exercises and cardio training on stationary bikes. An effective and fun workout! Pounds melt away while you tone your arms! Some classes are 45 minutes, some are 1 hour.

STEP CLASS: Burn calories and tone your body while you have fun moving! Feel free to eliminate the step and do a low-impact class instead. Class burns calories and relieves stress! A great compliment to weight-loss regimes!

YOGALATES: A non-traditional combination of Yoga poses and Pilates combined into one class. Perfect for those who want to build core strength and maintain flexibility. Please bring your own mat and blankets. All levels are welcome.

YOGA WITH PROPS: Using a combination of blocks, straps, weights, and chairs, this class will help you deepen your yoga practice and experience the poses differently. Something different each time! The practice of Yoga improves your overall wellness, helps prevent injuries, promotes flexibility, and reduces negative stress. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

ZUMBA®: Dance to the upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography for a total body workout that feels like a celebration. All levels are welcome.

ZUMBA® TONE: If you enjoy Zumba, but want an upper body workout, give this class a try! Fuse fitness with dance! It’s so much fun; you won’t even know you are working out! Toning sticks are supplied. All levels are welcome.

CLASSES NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED THIS MONTH:

FLOOR FLOW: (Not currently offered) The perfect way to begin your week!  Class, conducted entirely on the floor with no stress on the wrists, shoulders, or knees, uses creative combinations and sequences to awaken, lengthen muscles and gently prepare the body for the week ahead. The class takes a slow and flowing approach and incorporates the seated and reclined postures of yoga to inspire a sense of freedom in the hips, shoulders, and spine.  All levels are welcome. KICKBOXING: (Not currently offered) Fun and fierce! All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

LINE DANCING: (Not currently offered. Will resume in the Fall) Learn popular line dances as you tone your body through an enjoyable way to move your body! What a fun way to work out! All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

PUMP IT UP: (Not currently offered) Incorporating various barre, pilates, toning, and weightlifting principles, this class uses a combo of hand-held weights and props to sculpt lean muscle and build strength, and promote all-over physical conditioning. It’s like weightlifting to music! Strong focus on alignment and lengthening muscles to promote optimum movement. Build resilience and help prevent repetitive stress injuries! All levels are welcome. RESTORATIVE YOGA: (Not currently offered) Relax and renew with a combination of slow, gentle-moving seated/reclined Yoga postures deeply supported by blankets, blocks, or other props. Positions are held for several minutes at a time to inspire relaxation. Guided meditation is incorporated into this practice. All levels are welcome. No experience is necessary.

YIN TO RESTORE: (Not currently offered) The class uses a combination of Yin, Restorative Yoga, and meditation to soothe the mind, body, and spirit. Perfect for those who want to peacefully reduce negative stress while gaining flexibility in a slow-paced class. Please bring your own mat, bolster, and blanket. Props are not offered due to Covid protocols. All levels are welcome; no experience is needed.

YOGA MEDICINE: (Not currently offered, contact Maura for information) Think of this class as moving physical therapy! Specific sequences are used to promote spinal health and improve joint function. The entire class is conducted on the floor. Great for golfers, cyclists, runners, or those suffering from conditions like arthritis, and chronic back/hip pain. Reduces harmful stress and promotes physical wellness and emotional healing. All levels are welcome. Great for those new to Yoga. Click for equipment needs and more.
