SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT IN TWO STEPS
STEP ONE – Set up your Zoom account
1.) Install Zoom on your computer or device first. You only need to do this once.
If zoom is already downloaded, skip this step and go to step 2.
Go to Zoom.us and sign up for a free zoom account. Downloading Zoom to a phone or tablet? Visit the app store and download the Zoom Mobile App.

STEP TWO – Register (Members Only)
IMPORTANT: You must have an active AF membership to access classes. To register, you’ll need to provide your full name, a valid email address, and phone number so we can verify your membership. All memberships will be verified. Non-members are not allowed to participate in online classes. Please make a note of your user name and password. You must be logged in to access online and recorded classes.
Once you’ve registered, you can select the classes you want to attend.
Classes are available one month at a time.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES
Once you have downloaded zoom, and registered successfully, log in to the site with your user name and password. Click CLASS SCHEDULE from the top navigation bar, and select “LIVE ZOOM CLASSES” from the drop-down menu. Select which classes you want to attend and follow the onscreen instructions. Your selection will automatically be placed in YOUR PROFILE.
HOW TO JOIN A CLASS:
Unlike other facilities, you do not need to access classes via email. Instead, click on YOUR PROFILE in the top navigation bar. From there, click on the class you want to join and click on JOIN ZOOM MEETING link to automatically access the class. This method eliminates the need for joining via email. NOTE: Please sign in at least ten minutes before class starts to avoid issues and waiting room delays. The host/instructor will not be able to assist after the class has started.
Trouble signing in? First, make sure you have downloaded zoom, your membership is in good standing, and you are logged in. (If you don’t see your name in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage, it means you are not logged in). Please do not call the front desk. Contact this staff by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHILE IN CLASS:
During the class, you will be muted to eliminate any background noise. Please make sure your mic remains muted for the duration of the class. Use the chat feature if you’re having technical issues. You may keep your video off for privacy if you so desire.
Please familiarize yourself with how to turn on/off these functions before taking a class.

Once you’re logged into Zoom, if you’re experiencing issues, make sure your version of Zoom is up-to-date. For help with using Zoom visit the Zoom Help Center: https://support.zoom.us
Please make sure your browser (e.g., internet explorer, Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) is up-to-date. Your computer only requires sound, not a camera, to take classes. Make sure the sound is turned on and the volume it’s turned all the way up to your desired level. If you have a TV that can access the internet, you’ll be able to view our classes on your TV with the proper cords needed to connect your device.
